Domenic’s work will be featured in Speak Up, a Juried Group exhibition organised by Claudia Fiks and Guest Curator Julia Cseko. The exhibition will focus on artworks engaged with a call for action around the most pressing issues of our times.

Gallery Hours: Fridays 6.00 – 8.00 PM; Saturdays and Sundays 12.00 – 5.00 pm and by appointment.

Art and Social Activism hosted a virtual studio visit with Domenic via Instagram during which Domenic discussed his artistic practice, the opioid crisis, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on addiction and recovery.

Domenic’s ”Rhodes Spoon” installation outside the HQ of Rhodes Pharma in Coventry, Rhode Island was the Recipient of 2019’s Dorry Award in the category of ‘Public Art of the Year’

Domenic’s participation in the 2020 Edition of the highly regarded ArtPalmBeach fair included an exhibition of the ‘FDA Spoon’ and Opioid Spoon Editions, as well as a panel discussion and showing of a documentary on the Project.
Domenic’s work won ‘Best in Show’ at this group exhibition. Thematically, it coincided with seasonal gatherings around tables, offering an exploration of sculptural and functional tableware as contemporary carriers of narrative and story – central elements in human gatherings.

It was an honor for our short Documentary on the OSP to be shown at the Reel Recovery Film Festival, in Los Angeles and New York in Oct/Nov 2019.
In October 2019, it was a tremendous honor for the FDA Spoon to be presented at Boston University. Co-sponsored by the Boston University Art Galleries, the BU Arts Initiative, and the Department of History of Art & Architecture, at George Sherman Union Plaza (775 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston)
